Job summary

EPAM Systems in Poland is seeking a Senior SAP CAP Node.js Developer to design and deliver cloud-based solutions, lead technical initiatives, mentor team members and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure robust architecture and high-quality code.

You will work with SAP CAP, Node.js, BTP and HANA, apply microservice and cloud design principles, and steer delivery in an Agile environment, with hybrid or remote options within Poland.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of proven engineering experience in SAPUI5, BTP and HANA.
• Background in CAP, Node.js and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Piper, Webdriver.io) with a wide generic technological view.
• Experience working as a team leader focused on cloud, SAP and architecture, mentoring an org structure with 10+ people.
• Proficiency in design principles and competency in microservice architecture.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
• Basic understanding of JavaScript and Node.js.
• Work experience or theoretical knowledge of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), HANA database and SAP CAP (Java, Node.js).
• English proficiency level B2 or higher.

Responsibilities

• Conduct code reviews and develop features based on best software development practices, ensuring clean code and clean design
• Monitor applications, troubleshoot issues and resolve bugs
• Create technical and user documentation
• Cooperate with the team, track its performance and needs
• Collaborate with customers and stakeholders on technical topics, and provide the required metrics to management
• Participate in the setup, improvement and implementation of development processes
• Provide design and architectural decisions
