Job summary

DXC Technology is seeking a Senior SAP BW specialist to support BW system landscapes and related architecture. You will contribute to software development, integration, and governance for large-scale BW environments in a multinational SAP context.

The role requires hands-on experience with BW, XSA/XSC, SQL, HANA, ABAP, and related development tools, plus SAFe familiarity and German language skills at C1 level. A hybrid work model in Poland is offered with extensive training opportunities.

About the role:

The Analytics Service supports analytics projects and best practices in the SAP environment, specifically within the SAP BW on HANA, SAP BW Classic, and SAP BW/4 system landscapes by providing tools, frameworks, and development guidelines.

Key responsibilities:

• Development, maintenance, and documentation of tools, frameworks (operational and development support) and central components & data

• Platform-specific (development) policies and guidelines, naming conventions

• Setting up the basic structures when ordering new application environments

• Creation and further development of test cases for the annual release window

• Support for decommissioning/replacing applications

• Support for data archiving for applications

• Handling support requests from the SAP Basis team or Identity Access Management regarding platforms

• Enabling BW developers with regard to functionalities and technologies

• Participation in communities as well as the exchange and standardization of guidelines, recommendations, and best practices

• Updating, structuring, and ensuring the quality of technical documentation and manuals in the BW area, as well as maintaining concepts

Qualifications & experience:

• Senior level with extensive experience in BW system landscapes

• Several years of practical experience in software development and/or technology integration

• Operational experience and understanding of architecture for large BW landscapes

• Knowledge: BW, XSA, XSC, SQL, HANA, ABAP, Kyano Glue (including development environments: BEx Tools, Eclipse/HanaStudio, WebIDE, Git, etc.), BW and XSA authorizations (functionality, structure, concept)

• Experience with migration scenarios

• Basic knowledge of SAP Solution Manager (TestSuite)

• High standards for the quality of one’s own work

• Willingness to familiarize oneself with new topics and technologies (including organizational aspects)

• Experience working with the SAFe framework (Scaled Agile Framework)

• Fluent in written and spoken German (C1)
