TÜV Rheinland Group seeks an SAP BTP Developer (w/m/d) for Katowice or remote work. You will build cloud-based SAP applications and evolve mobility-focused solutions within SAP BTP, ABAP, UI5/Fiori, and RESTful architecture.

The role emphasizes collaboration with solution architects and business units, contributing to architecture design, incident resolution, and documentation in a dynamic, international team.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

About the Role

We are looking for: SAP BTP Developer (w/m/d) Working location is the office in Katowice, ul. Chorzowska 146 or fully remote work.

Activities & Responsibilities:

As an SAP Developer with a focus on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), you will work on modern, cloud-based solutions while also ensuring the support and further development of existing SAP applications.

A particular focus lies on supporting the Business Stream Mobility as well as the technical implementation of defined solution architectures.

Your responsibilities in detail:

• Development, enhancement, and maintenance of applications on the SAP BTP
• Participation in the design, implementation, and further development of mobile SAP solutions (e.g. SAP Fiori, UI5, mobile extensions)
• Support and further development of existing solutions in the classic SAP development environment
• Development using:ABAP (classic, OO)
• ABAP RESTful / RAP (advantageous)
• SAP UI5 / Fiori
• CAP (Node.js or Java) (advantageous)
• Implementation of side-by-side extensions for SAP S/4HANA
• Analysis and resolution of incidents as well as support during ongoing operations
• Support and consulting in the design and implementation of solution architectures, particularly in the SAP BTP and mobility environment
• Close collaboration with solution architects, business departments, and project teams to technically design architectures
• Involvement in integration and interface scenarios (e.g. OData, REST)
• Documentation of developments and technical solutions

Experience & Qualification:

• Completed vocational training or degree in the IT field, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of experience as an SAP Developer
• Very good knowledge of classic SAP development (ABAP, ideally OO)
• Experience with or strong interest in SAP BTP and cloud-based development
• Very good English language skills
• Very good German language skills or willingness to develop German language skills if the level is lower than advanced
• Understanding of business processes and user-centric applications
• Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
