We are looking for the SAP Architect-Business Process to engage with partners to understand business operations and support them within the SAP platform. This is a global role for the Westinghouse SAP Team, collaborating with technical experts and consolidating needs through workshops and documentation. Prior SAP experience is required, with nuclear industry experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Define scope and outcomes within assigned SAP Manufacturing modules (PP/QM/PM/MM), partnering with implementation team for refinement and execution
- Plan, design and test SAP end-to-end business processes within SAP Manufacturing
- Serve as subject matter expert for SAP Manufacturing modules (PP/QM/PM/MM) and related integrations, understanding interdependencies across the enterprise
- Lead workshops with end-users and stakeholders to discover, define and document requirements with a focus on a nuclear regulated environment
- Own analysis, documentation and communication of end‑to‑end business processes and use cases supporting SAP implementations
- Support module SMEs as they expand business process flows into detailed module designs
- Collaborate with peer SAP Architects and SMEs to account for all identified use cases
- Partner with the SAP Architect-Data to document all known data
- Design solutions in consideration of SAP best practices and Westinghouse standards
- Ensure compliance with export control, data privacy, migration and security standards within the SAP team
- Guide end‑to‑end solution design for Manufacturing modules across SAP and integrated systems
- Define test cases and success criteria for all use cases, partnering with SAP Testing & Training team to record in the test management system
- Review and assess scope changes and design impacts
- Help with cutover plans and go‑live preparations
- Evaluate SAP designs and solutions for export control and security risks
- Maintain business process documentation and support training content and delivery strategies
- Evaluate future SAP functionality and release impacts, setting strategic direction for adoption and integration
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of SAP functional experience, including PP, QM, PM, MM modules
- Hands‑on configuration and user experience with SAP manufacturing modules
- Implementation experience with SAP manufacturing modules
- Experience integrating third‑party manufacturing systems such as MES and engineering systems
- Additional experience with SD/LE/PS/FICO/CS and ECC Fiori
- Experience using process mapping tools
- Knowledge of SAP security roles
- Experience with export regulations such as ITAR, EAR, the Nuclear Non‑Proliferation Treaty, and the nuclear or controlled material industry
- Experience with SAP development processes (change control, job scheduling, development methodologies, system landscape, application development, and backup and recovery)
- Additional experience with S/4 HANA
We are currently looking for a candidate based in Poland. The salary ranges provided in this posting apply to candidates located in Poland; however, we are also open to considering applicants based in other EMEA countries, where compensation may vary depending on the local market.
The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be 17,000 to 21,225 PLN gross per month. In addition to the base pay, this role may be eligible for incentive pay based on company and individual performance.
