Job summary

GlobalLogic Inc. in Kraków is seeking an experienced ABAP/SAP developer to support and enhance SAP S/4HANA solutions. You will work on modern SAP technologies, CDS views, OData, and Fiori, while aligning with business processes in SAP SD and related modules.

You will collaborate with SAP consultants and cross-functional teams, contribute to agile discussions, and own final technical solutions. A strong foundation in ABAP and documentation is required, with readiness to grow in a global project

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in classical ABAP development, including experience with S/4HANA, ideally within the SAP SD module.
• Ability to write high-quality code and maintain clear, comprehensive documentation.
• Good understanding of architectural principles and design patterns.
• Experience with the Enhancement Framework in the SD area, including user exits, customer exits, BADIs, pricing routines, and copy controls.
• Strong knowledge of classical ABAP, including best practices, dependencies, dialog programming, OOP, modularization, integration methods, performance optimization, debugging, and clean code principles.
• Experience with modern ABAP syntax, CDS views, and OData.
• Understanding of and interest in new SAP technologies, including BTP, RAP, CAP, Fiori, and SAP Public Cloud.
• Strong understanding of business processes in SAP SD and related modules.
• Willingness to gain an in-depth understanding of the business context and processes.
• English proficiency at least at an intermediate level.
• Strong sense of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Supporting existing solutions within the SAP S/4HANA system while continuously improving and enhancing them by implementing new features and functionalities.
• Developing and maintaining solutions using classical ABAP, including object-oriented programming and bug fixing.
• Working with modern SAP technologies, such as CDS views, RAP, and Fiori applications, as well as integrations based on OData v2 and v4.
• Exploring and developing skills in new SAP technologies, supported by internal learning programs and opportunities for professional growth.
• Participating in end-to-end business and technical discussions, following Agile best practices.
• Taking ownership of final technical solutions in collaboration with SAP consultants.

Our project focuses on a large and complex rental system serving corporate clients worldwide, including major construction companies. The system comprises business-critical components and generates millions of CHF in revenue each month.

We have been working closely with our client for five years, supporting the IT infrastructure behind the global rental of tools for a leading provider based in Switzerland.

Our team is responsible for solutions built on the SAP platform and middleware based on Java microservices, ensuring the continued support and development of this global business system.

Requirements
