Job summary

ABB söker en Sales Configurator Product Modeler/Developer som kommer att delta i utvecklingen och underhållet av försäljningskonfiguratorlösningar för ELDS/ELSE. Du arbetar i ett tvärfunktionellt internationellt team och designar, implementerar och testar produktmodeller tillsammans med portfölj- och ingenjörsgruppen.

Rollen kräver kompetens i modellering, programmering och konfigurationsverktyg samt förmåga att arbeta i en agil, snabb miljö.

Qualifications

• Erfarenhet av produktmodellering och konfiguration inom försäljningskonfiguratorer.
• God förståelse för programvarulivscykeln och verktyg som Azure DevOps.
• Färdigheter i .NET, Python och Java.
• Kunskap om Configit ACE är en fördel.
• Samarbetsförmåga i tvärfunktionella team och proaktivt arbetssätt.

Responsibilities

• Designa, implementera, testa och felsöka produktmodeller för ELDS och ELSE.
• Utveckla produktmodellerna enligt krav från Produktchefer/Portföljchefer och ingenjörer.
• Samarbeta med IS och affärsintressenter för att leverera användarvänlig lösning.
• Säkerställa integriteten hos modellen i samarbete med plattformsleverantör/implementeringspartner.
• Ge teknisk support och åtgärda användarberättade problem.
• Medverka i utvecklingsprocessen för försäljningskonfiguratorn.

Innovation Enablement Manager

As a Sales Configurator Product Modeler / Developer you will be a member of a team developing and maintaining sales configurators solutions supporting the operations and customers of ABB Electrification (EL) - Distribution Solution (ELDS) and Service (ELSE). You will be working in a cross-functional team which operates in an international environment.

In this role you will be responsible for the modelling and maintenance of distribution systems and service products (switchgears, grid components and service offering ) in the new global ELDS/SE sales configurator platform(s). You will closely collaborate with product sales configurators, portfolio managers and engineers to design, implement, test and troubleshoot the product models. Together with the internal ABB IS and Business Teams you will have unique opportunity to learn the product portfolio and based on that design and deliver the future platform ensuring it meets the needs of our customers and sales team

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Design, implement, test, and troubleshoot product models for ELDS and ELSE.
• Develop the product models as defined by the Product Managers / Sales Configurators Portfolio Managers and Engineers. Ensure product models are well-structured to enable high quality change management and simplify the future maintenance
• Collaborate with relevant IS and Business stakeholders to deliver a user-friendly and efficient Sales Configurator solution.
• Work closely with the platform supplier / implementation partner to ensure the integrity of the product model is guaranteed as the platform evolves.
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting and fixing issues reported by users.
• Contribute to the overall sales configurator development process

Qualifications for the role

• You are highly skilled in product modelling and configuration within sales configurator tools and enjoy working in the industrial technology and engineering sector
• You have established experience in the software development lifecycle, including working with tools such as Azure DevOps
• You possess solid expertise in programming languages such as .NET, Python, Java, or similar technologies
• You are highly adept in configurator platforms, with experience in Configit ACE considered an advantage
• You are passionate about teamwork and collaboration, while also demonstrating a proactive, solution-oriented, and independent working style
• You are resilient in agile, fast-paced environments and are motivated by continuous learning and development
• You have proven experience or a strong understanding of industrial product portfolios; knowledge of ABB’s DS and SE Division portfolio is considered a plus
