Job summary

OPmobility seeks an RTR Accounting Professional in Kraków to ensure accurate financial reporting and GL management. You will support month-end closing, reconciliations, and drive process improvements in the RTR function within a multinational environment.

The role requires a university degree in accounting or related fields, 2–3 years of RTR/GL experience, SAP proficiency, and fluent English and German. Hybrid work with a Kraków office presence is offered.

Qualifications

• University degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 2–3 years of RTR/GL/Financial Accounting experience in SSC/GBS/multinational setting.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and month-end close processes.
• Experience with balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, intercompany accounting.
• ERP experience, SAP or similar systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Fluent English and German, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day General Ledger accounting activities with data accuracy and integrity.
• Post journals, including accruals, provisions, prepayments, allocations and intercompany entries.
• Own Fixed Assets module in SAP, including additions, disposals, impairments, and AA-GL reconciliations.
• Support month-end and year-end closing, ensuring timely reporting.
• Conduct intercompany reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support reporting and collaborate with RTR BPO for process standardization.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, accounting principles, and group policies.

The RTR Accounting Professional will be based in our Kraków office, Poland, and will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, general ledger management, and compliance with both local and group accounting standards. The successful candidate will support month-end closing activities, account reconciliations, and continuous improvement initiatives within the Record-to-Report (RTR) function.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day General Ledger accounting activities, ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial data.
• Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, provisions, prepayments, allocations, and intercompany transactions.
• Take ownership of Fixed Assets module in SAP, including Fixed Assets additions, disposals, adjustments (ex. impairment entries), reconciliations between AA module and GL.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Month-end intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations for assigned accounts
• Contribute to reporting activities.
• Collaborate with the RTR Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) partner to drive process standardization and operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, accounting principles, internal controls, and Group policies.
• Actively support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to process optimization projects within the RTR function.

Requirements

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Record-to-Report (RTR), General Ledger, or Financial Accounting, preferably within a Shared Service Center (SSC), Global Business Services (GBS), or multinational environment.
• Good understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting processes, and month-end close activities.
• Experience with balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and intercompany accounting.
• Proficiency in SAP or another ERP system.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Fluent English and German both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a problem-solving mindset.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic and international environment
