Job summary

Electrolux Krakow Global Shared Service Center is seeking an experienced RTR Accountant to support General Ledger activities for the Hungarian market. You will work with an international team, ensuring accurate data, timely reporting, and proactive process improvements.

The role requires fluent English and Polish, a finance-related degree, and at least 2 years in finance/accounting. SAP experience and strong Excel skills are highly valued, with a hybrid work setup in Krakow.

Qualifications

• Must have fluent English and Polish in speaking and writing.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in finance and accounting, RTR/GL or shared services.
• Advanced MS Excel skills required.
• Experience with SAP is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform General Ledger accounting activities with accuracy and compliance.
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and post journal entries, including month-end accruals.
• Support period-end closing activities per corporate timelines.

About the job

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented RTR Accountant to support General Ledger activities for the Hungarian market. This role is ideal for a proactive finance professional who thrives in a dynamic, international environment and is committed to delivering high-quality financial processes.

What you'll do

In this role, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data. Working closely with internal stakeholders and reporting to the RTR Team Leader, you will enhance processes, uphold high data quality standards, and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting within an international environment.

• Performing General Ledger accounting activities with a focus on accuracy and compliance
• Conducting balance sheet reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
• Preparing and posting journal entries, including month-end accruals
• Supporting period-end closing activities in line with corporate timelines
• Prepare financial reports and support analysis of accounting transactions and balances.
• Maintaining high data quality standards and ensuring timely reporting
• Building and sustaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders
• Proactively identifying opportunities for process improvement
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial data in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Qualifications & Experience

• Fluent English and Polish (spoken and written)
• Hungarian language will be an asset
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in finance and accounting, preferably within Record to Report (RTR), General Ledger, or Shared Services environments.
• Advanced MS Excel skills (mandatory)
• Experience working with SAP
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and month-end closing processes.
• Openness to learning, taking on new challenges, and driving continuous improvement.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, customer-focused mindset, and a collaborative approach to work.

You will be based in a modern office in Krakow. Our Global Shared Service Center provides services for all companies in the Electrolux Group worldwide. We are dedicated to Global Finance & Accounting, HR Services, IT, Reporting & Analysis CoE, and Product Documentation.
