Qualifications

• Majors in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, or Accounting.
• GPA 3.3 or above.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.

Job description

The Risk Summer Analyst participates in a 10 weeks summer rotational program. The program provides the knowledge and training necessary to play a valuable role within Citi; and take the first steps towards a long-term career here. The Summer Analyst receives real-world work, and is expected to add value to their teams during their time at Citi.

Responsibilities

• Performs most basic, routine tasks/assignments
• Works under direct supervision with detailed procedures
• May service a very limited number of products/services
• Applies knowledge of routine work area procedures
• Completes standardized activities
• Exchanges basic information with other co-workers
• Resolves task related problems in straightforward situations
• Selects from a limited number of clearly
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
