Job summary

Citigroup Inc. in Poland is seeking a senior Risk Data Analyst to analyze data quality, exposure calculations and risk attributes across securities and OTC/SFT products. You will engage with Risk Analytics, Credit Risk Management and IT partners to improve data integrity and risk processes.

The role requires 10+ years in banking, strong data analysis, and expertise with SQL, Tableau and Excel. A hybrid work model is available with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• A comprehensive knowledge of Business, Risk data, including Risk data elements and systems across securities, market data and trading products.
• A total of around 10+ years banking experience with good understanding of Credit Risk and exposure calculations.
• OTC, SFT, Cash products knowledge required
• A proven track record of successful project management of multiple priorities and dealing effectively with demanding business partners

Responsibilities

• Perform daily analysis on key factors and business data focused on securities products and attributes, liquidity, concentration exposure calculation
• Proactive identification of potential business issues in credit risk exposure calculations (Liquidity and Readily Marketable, Pre-settlement, Net Stressed)
• Maintain reasonability checks on crucial risk/finance attributes. Assist in identification of critical data elements for key risk processes in partnership with Business, Risk consumers
• New risk data quality processes setup based on the Clients requirements
• Focus on DQ issue identification and resolution
• Presents findings/analysis and make recommendations to Senior management
• Develop tools, systems, procedures for potential data issues identification
• Promotes more effective use of existing tools and processes (and eliminate those that are not used or are ineffectual)
• Provide training and guidance to other team members
• Track progress of various data quality projects, including technology initiatives and Issues for Management Resolution

Counterparty Credit Risk Data Solution and Analytics Team analyses securities, trade volumes and exposure trends to identify and address Data Quality issues that impact exposure calculations metrics. This is accomplished by working closely withour partners in Counterparty Risk Analytics, Credit Risk Management, Markets, Institutional Credit Management (ICM) and Technology to improve the integrity of the factors, processes and systems that impact the data.The team is comprised of riskprofessionals with subject matter expertise of the key attributes that are critical for effective exposure calculations (PSE, NSE) on Derivatives (OTCs) and Securities (SFTs) products. This includesknowledgeofsystems, exposure calculations, transaction dataand market data.

The proactive identification and improvement of Risk data quality through analysis of key risk inputs, outputs and exposure measurements. Perform risk data quality analysis, address potential risk process and propose controls that will benefit exposure calculation improvements across multiple businesses: Risk Management, IT, Finance, Front Office etc. specializing in Over-The-Counter Traded Derivatives (OTC) and Securities Finance Transactions (SFT) products.
