Qualifications

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills and openness to new challenges.
  • Fluent English.

Responsibilities

  • Learn Catastrophe (CAT) Modelling guidelines and ensure adherence while processing accounts.
  • Acquire in-depth knowledge of AXA XL lines of business to understand assigned tasks.
  • Process various risk modelling tasks using appropriate applications with accuracy and productivity.
  • Analyse bound package terms/conditions and translate them into the modelling application; prepare exposure data.
  • Assist underwriting with pricing decisions and input data into Pricing Tool.
  • Communicate with Underwriters and ERM to resolve queries.
  • Utilize workflow and time-tracking tools for proper organization and reporting.
  • Participate in internal projects with ERM.

What You’ll Be DOING

What will your essential responsibilities include?



  • Learning Catastrophe (CAT) Modelling guidelines and ensuring adherence to them while processing accounts.

  • Getting detailed know-how on the specific lines of business written at AXA XL in order to understand the tasks you perform

  • Undertaking the processing of various risk modelling tasks via usage of the appropriate applications with adherence to the set accuracy, timeliness and productivity goals.

  • Analysing the bound package terms/conditions and translating them into the modelling application. Gathering and preparing exposure data to input into the model.

  • Support underwriting with Pricing decisions, thereby learning and correctly capturing the data in Pricing Tool, as and when applicable

  • Communicating with Underwriters and ERM to help resolve queries.

  • Using workflow and time-tracking tools to make sure proper work organisation and reporting.

  • Participating in internal projects/common initiatives together with ERM.


You will report to local Assistant Manager.

  • Graduate in any discipline, preferably in Mathematics, Finance, Economics or Accounting

  • Good MS Excel (VLOOKUP’s, pivot tables, formulas). Knowledge of VBA will be an asset.

  • Sound numerical ability and analytical mindset, inquisitive mind

  • Ability to work with large amount of data, complex instructions and multiple exceptions

  • Good organization skills and excellent attention to detail

  • Good people skills, communicative and open to new challenges

  • Fluent English
