The candidate will have strong analytical and quantitative skills and will be capable of analyzing, explaining, and modeling hydropower processes across various spatial and temporal resolutions. A keen interest in power markets is important, as understanding the interplay between hydrology and energy systems—particularly in the context of hydropower—is increasingly important. The analyst will demonstrate high attention to detail, communication skills, and a self-motivated, inquisitive, resourceful, and independent approach to problem-solving.**MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE*** Take part in the daily production of hydrological results* Perform hydropower analysis including building and maintaining models worldwide* Develop GIS applications for hydrological use* Design and operationalize PowerBI dashboards* Be a resource in all applicable projects, including SDDP modelling* Customer contact and attention**QUALIFICATIONS*** Higher education in hydrology, meteorology, statistics, mathematics, physics or engineering* Good command of English (Knowledge of Portuguese is a merit)* Strong experience with programming (eg. MatLab, Python)* Experience of hydrological modeling tools (eg.
