Job summary

Planet Pharma in Gdańsk is seeking a Research Physician to join a growing clinical research site. The role combines patient care with delivery of clinical trials, offering an opportunity to advance into clinical research without prior trial experience.

You will conduct medical assessments, ensure participant safety, review protocols, and work with sponsors and healthcare professionals to drive trial delivery.

Qualifications

• MD with unrestricted licence to practice in Poland.
• Valid ICH-GCP certification.
• Strong general medical diagnostic and patient treatment experience.
• Excellent attention to detail and patient-focused mindset.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office and clinical systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct medical assessments and clinical evaluations of study participants.
• Ensure participant safety, wellbeing, and ethical treatment throughout all clinical studies.
• Review screening, enrolment, recruitment, and retention metrics to support successful trial delivery.
• Interpret study protocols and Investigator Brochures (IBs).
• Perform protocol-required medical duties in line with ICH-GCP, local regulations, and site procedures.
• Review safety data, laboratory results, and participant medical information.
• Support audits, inspections, and quality initiatives.
• Provide clinical oversight of investigational medicinal products (IMPs).
• Work closely with research teams, sponsors, and other healthcare professionals.
