Job summary

The Green Recruitment Company seeks a Construction Contract Manager in Warsaw to lead contract administration for onshore wind, solar PV, and BESS projects. You will partner with regional heads and project managers to protect commercial interests, manage claims, and negotiate with contractors and suppliers.

Reporting to VP Construction, you will champion AI-supported contract management tools, share lessons learned, and drive stronger commercial practices across Central Europe.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years in commercial or contract management on capital-intensive renewables or energy infra projects.
• Hands-on experience in claims, variations and disputes with direct negotiation responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of construction and supply contracts; FIDIC familiarity is advantageous.
• Experience with EPC contractors or OEMs; IPPs with construction exposure welcome.
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management to protect commercial position.
• Ability to work independently and coach project managers on contracts.

Responsibilities

• Review contracts before execution, identify obligations, time bars and commercial risks.
• Manage correspondence, notices, variations and claims with robust evidence.
• Lead or support negotiations on claims and disputes affecting cost/schedule.
• Maintain proactive communication with contractors and suppliers to preserve relationships.
• Report risks to construction leadership and coordinate external legal support as needed.
• Support close-out, final accounts, and warranty claims; feed lessons learned.
• Coach project managers and drive adoption of AI-supported contract tools.
