Job summary

Welocalize’s Welo Data team seeks a detail-oriented Quality Control Specialist to support an AI data annotation project. You will review tasks submitted by Trainers, verify accuracy against images, and provide clear feedback to maintain data quality.

This remote, freelance role offers 10 hours per week with pay at $43.2 per hour. Ideal for meticulous individuals who can follow guidelines, spot inconsistencies, and communicate findings in strong written English.

Qualifications

• Native/Strong proficiency at Ukrainian.
• Excellent attention to detail and a quality mindset.
• Strong visual observation and reading comprehension.
• Ability to apply guidelines consistently and objectively.
• Strong written English communication for giving feedback.
• Experience in QA, QC, editing, proofreading, or data review is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review completed tasks submitted by Trainers, including the original question, image, and golden answer.
• Independently verify whether the golden answer is correct based on the image.
• Identify and flag incorrect, incomplete, or inconsistent answers.
• Provide clear feedback or corrections to maintain data quality.
• Track recurring error patterns and report to the project team.
• Escalate unclear cases to the project team for resolution.
• Ensure Trainer output meets the project's quality bar before final sign-off.
