Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a UI/UX Director based in Poland to lead hands-on design initiatives and elevate UI/UX quality across sophisticated web and e-commerce experiences. You will bridge creative vision, user experience, and front-end execution, shaping design systems, accessibility, and mobile-first thinking.

You will work with senior stakeholders, guide proposals and new business pitches, and manage capacity planning, estimation, forecasting, and budgets in a fully remote environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in digital design with leadership experience.
• Strong UI design capabilities plus front-end understanding.
• Expert in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and modern frameworks.
• Proficient in Figma, prototyping, design tokens and systems.
• Experience with e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Adobe Commerce).
• Deep UX knowledge, research, IA, responsive/mobile-first.
• Ability to interpret data and translate to design strategy.
• Operational and financial acumen including budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Set creative and technical direction for UI/UX initiatives.
• Lead mobile-first design across web, apps and omnichannel.
• Oversee design systems, tokens, and front-end handoffs.
• Provide leadership on complex e-commerce projects (Shopify, Adobe Commerce).
• Ensure visual consistency, accessibility (WCAG) and performance.
• Translate client objectives into compelling digital strategies.
• Guide executive conversations, proposals and new business pitches.
• Mentor UX and UI designers and manage capacity and budgets.
