Job summary

Valeo Lighting Systems in Chrzanów is seeking a Thermal Simulation Engineer to lead high-fidelity CFD analyses for automotive lighting systems. You will work on FloEFD and ANSYS Fluent, validate models, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve cooling and reliability of lighting electronics.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in a technical area with thermal knowledge.
• Experience with CFD/CFD workflows and simulation background.
• Automotive or mechanical industry exposure preferred.
• Fluent in English and Polish.
• Knowledge of CATIA and ANSYS Fluent is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-fidelity CFD simulations (FloEFD + ANSYS Fluent) per standards.
• Deliver comprehensive results packages with analysis and explanations.
• Translate thermal phenomena into clear recommendations for design teams.
• Develop and document new CFD methodologies to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Draft and maintain SOPs and technical documentation for CFD workflows.
• Validate results against experimental data or analytical solutions.
• Opportunity to act as a CFD expert within the team.
