Job summary

Wooster Games is seeking a Social Media Specialist for its PC/flat-screen game portfolio. Join a remote, contract role to build audiences from teaser to launch and beyond, converting engagement into wishlists and installs while growing a creator ecosystem.

You’ll align with design, art, and production to turn gameplay into compelling content, manage weekly video production, and stay ahead of trends across YouTube, TikTok, X, Instagram, and Discord.

Qualifications

• Experience capturing and editing short and long-form gameplay video for social platforms.
• 2+ years cross-functional experience on PC or flat-screen games; VR experience is a plus.
• Hands-on knowledge of Steam marketing: store pages, wishlists, demos, festivals, and update/ event beats.
• Fluent in creator and streaming culture on Twitch, YouTube, and TikTok.
• Submission of Portfolio/Reel with application.

Responsibilities

• Capture, film, and edit gameplay clips weekly for YouTube, TikTok, X, IG, and Discord for PC/flatscreen.
• Build and run the social plan for new PC titles from pre-launch to live: teasers, devlogs, playtest calls, demos and Steam festival moments, and launch beats.
• Grow a creator and streamer program across Twitch, YouTube, and TikTok, finding and supporting creators who promote co-op and party games.
• Foster a creator community for Gen Alpha and Gen Z, staying ahead of social media and streaming trends.
• Help carry the Animal Company fanbase to new titles, giving each game its own voice and identity.
• Analyze content performance (reach, engagement, wishlist/install conversion) and feed learnings back to the team to shape store pages, marketing beats, and in-game features.
