Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join development and R&D activities focused on enhancing software code security and protecting customer data. You will work with development teams to identify and address security vulnerabilities across software applications.

The role emphasizes secure code reviews, security testing, and guidance on secure coding practices, with opportunities for hybrid work in Poland and occasional travel. English proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in security engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in secure code review.
• Expertise in Rust.
• Familiarity with security testing tools and security testing methodologies.
• Knowledge of security vulnerabilities and vulnerability management.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Responsibilities

• Conduct secure code reviews to identify security vulnerabilities and ensure adherence to security standards.
• Perform security testing activities to identify risks and weaknesses in software applications.
• Provide knowledge and guidance to development teams on secure coding practices and security requirements.
• Stay up to date with the latest security vulnerabilities and threats, and proactively recommend mitigation strategies.
• Utilize security testing tools to identify, analyze, and report security issues.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of security testing methodologies and processes.
