EPAM Systems is seeking a Software Code Security Reviewer (Rust) to join client development and R&D activities. You will conduct secure code reviews, identify vulnerabilities, and work with developers to improve security posture across software applications.

The role emphasizes collaboration with engineering teams, staying current on threats, and applying security testing methodologies within a hybrid by design model, including remote work options in Poland.

Qualifications

Job description

We are looking for a Software Code Security Reviewer (Rust) to join our client's development and R&D activities. The project aims to enhance the software code security of the client's products and ensure the protection of customer data. As a Security Champion, you will be responsible for conducting software code security reviews and helping to improve the overall security posture of the organization, working closely with development teams to identify and address potential security vulnerabilities in software applications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct secure code reviews to identify security vulnerabilities and ensure adherence to security standards
• Perform security testing activities to identify risks and weaknesses in software applications
• Collaborate with development teams to provide knowledge and guidance on secure coding practices and security requirements
• Stay up to date with the latest security vulnerabilities and threats, and proactively recommend mitigation strategies
• Utilize security testing tools to identify, analyze, and report security issues

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in software code security review
• Expertise in Rust
• Skills in using Security Testing Tools
