Job summary

Proxify is seeking a Senior Rust Developer to architect, build, and optimize high-performance systems. You will lead backend microservices, ensure safety, determinism, and low-latency execution in a distributed environment.

You will guide architectural decisions, champion zero-cost abstractions, and mentor teams while working across CET time zones. This role emphasizes remote collaboration with global clients and a strong focus on scalable Rust platforms.

Qualifications

• Production-grade Rust experience (3+ yrs) with 6+ yrs overall software engineering.
• Strong async programming with Tokio, async-std, or Actix.
• Memory management optimization and zero-leak mindset.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain secure, high-concurrency, low-latency systems and microservices.
• Profile and optimize bottlenecks across code paths, DB access, and serialization.
• Enforce idiomatic code, strong typing, and comprehensive tests (cargo).
• Collaborate with Frontend and Platform squads to define high-performance API schemas.
• Provide Rust domain expertise, memory management guidance, and deployment best practices.
