Job summary

A growing finance startup in Poland is seeking a Senior Python Developer to help design and build the backend of an automated trading app. This fully remote position offers great flexibility, allowing you to set your own hours and work part-time if desired. Candidates should have advanced Python skills and experience with NumPy, as well as a comfort with building backend systems and DevOps practices. Qualifications

• Experience in building and operating backend systems at scale.
• Comfortable with testing, documentation, and code quality practices including TDD.
• Some experience with MQL, Pinescript, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Design and build the backend of a trading app from scratch.
• Support building and running custom trading algorithms.
• Work with a small, focused team and have ownership over product direction.

Skills

Advanced Python experience

Strong experience with NumPy and pandas

Experience with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines

Ability to reason about concurrency and async code

Familiarity with trading and market concepts

Experience with Django, Celery, Postgres
