Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker seeks a Senior Analyst Financial Systems to join the remote Financial Systems team. You will support the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of a configurable controls framework across SAP CFIN, S/4HANA, and core ERP platforms, while aligning with internal controls and audit requirements.

You will develop test plans, maintain control inventories, analyze design changes for risks, and collaborate with stakeholders to implement process improvements.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Internal Controls, or related areas.
• Fluent English.
• Experience with SAP internal controls, risk and control concepts, regulatory compliance, and automated controls.
• Experience with SAP CFIN and/or S/4HANA implementations is a plus.
• Familiarity with SAP GRC Process Controls and continuous monitoring capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and improve a configurable controls framework across SAP CFIN, S/4HANA, and core ERP platforms.
• Develop and execute detailed test plans for configurable controls aligned with internal control and audit requirements.
• Assist in designing and maintaining a configurable controls inventory embedded within CFIN/S4HANA process designs (Record-to-Report, Order-to-Cash, Purchase-to-Pay, Treasury, Financial Close, MM, Plant Maintenance).
• Analyze proposed process designs to identify control gaps, risks, and opportunities; collaborate with stakeholders to resolve them.
• Participate in design, implementation, and UAT activities focusing on controls verification and alignment to global standards.
• Lead or support workshops with business/process owners to understand usage scenarios and develop validation procedures.
• Identify opportunities to automate controls-related activities and improve monitoring efficiency.
• Leverage SAP and enterprise data to support controls analysis, issue identification, trend monitoring, and improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with Controls and Compliance, Internal Audit, and External Audit teams to support audit readiness and documentation quality.
• Communicate findings, recommendations, and risks clearly to stakeholders at multiple levels.
