Job summary

Valeo Czechowice-Dziedzice plant is seeking an R&D Warranty Engineer to act as the direct interface between the Customer and Valeo, manage warranty systems, and coordinate reviews. You will perform warranty analyses, deliver results including on-line data entry, follow and validate warranty costs, and monitor customer and Valeo KPI.

This role requires strong Mechatronics knowledge and experience in manufacturing quality environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience.
• Engineering degree in electronics/automatics/technical field.
• Experience in quality department is a plus.
• Experience with customer portals is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of mechatronics, measurement hardware, CAN/LIN.
• Familiarity with CAN/LIN and PC data-analysis tools.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and analytical skills.
• Knowledge or ability to learn problem identification and quality tools.

Responsibilities

• Direct interface between Customer and Valeo.
• Manage customers warranty systems.
• Schedule and participate in warranty reviews.
• Perform analysis of warranty returns.
• Provide analysis results including on-line data entry and feedback to internal Warranty organisation.
• Follow and validate Customer warranty costs.
• Follow the Customer and Valeo KPI.
