Job summary

Fundraise Up, Inc. is seeking a Product Writer for our Documentation team who will own the customer-facing documentation set. You’ll translate product behavior from a Russian-speaking team into clear English articles, both new and existing, to ensure customers can act confidently.

You’ll start from AI drafts, verify claims against the product, and publish with a consistent Fundraise Up voice. You’ll collaborate across departments and deliver up-to-date visuals for each release.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience writing technical or product documentation
• Own documentation end-to-end — responsibility for accuracy and clarity
• Near-native written English (C1/C2)
• Working Russian to source product behavior
• Able to read a tech spec and describe API behavior accurately
• Capable of producing and editing video walkthroughs
• Self-sufficient with minimal hand-holding
• Comfortable in a fast-moving environment with shifting priorities

Responsibilities

• Turn a feature spec into a published article that goes live the same day the release ships
• Work directly with a Russian-speaking product team to document behavior in English
• Start from an AI draft and verify against the product, fixing gaps
• Own the live documentation feedback queue and close issues
• Refactor and rewrite older content to meet editorial standards
• Produce and keep current screenshots, screen recordings, and walkthroughs for each release
• Collaborate with English-speaking colleagues across departments to fill gaps in documentation
