g2 Recruitment is partnering with a leading offshore wind client to recruit a Freelance Mechanical Construction & Commissioning Engineer. The role supports hook-up and commissioning preparation of Offshore Substations (OSS) with a 12-month contract, remote work with travel to Poland, ASAP start.

The ideal candidate has mechanical engineering qualifications, OSS/Offshore wind experience, and strong knowledge of MCCRs, punch lists, and commissioning documentation.

Qualifikationen

• Mechanical engineering qualification or equivalent.
• Experience in mechanical construction, completion, or commissioning.
• Offshore wind OSS or energy infra project experience.
• Understanding of MCCRs, punch lists, and completion systems.
• Experience with work pack development and engineering documentation.
• Fluent English communication.

Aufgaben

• Prepare mechanical work orders and work packs.
• Define scopes, man-hours, materials, and equipment requirements.
• Compile MCCRs, drawings, and completion documentation.
• Coordinate technical clarifications with project stakeholders.
• Ensure works are prepared for safe offshore execution.
