Job summary

SeaRenergy is seeking a Mechanical Construction & Commissioning Engineer (m/f/d) for offshore substations. The role focuses on translating engineering documentation into executable Work Orders and supporting the hook-up and commissioning of offshore substations.

Start date ASAP with a 12-month assignment and possible extensions. The work involves remote duties with travel to Poland and a freelance/B2B contract. English proficiency and a structured, detail-oriented approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree or technical qualification in mechanical engineering or similar.
• Experience in mechanical construction or commissioning with work-pack development.
• Experience in offshore projects, preferably with OSS or energy infra.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and documents.
• Understanding of material take-offs, man-hours, lifting and access.
• Familiarity with punch lists and completion records.
• Good command of English and ability to work with digital documentation.
• Structured, detail-oriented and cross-discipline coordination.

Responsibilities

• Translate engineering documentation and outstanding mechanical work into Work Orders.
• Support technical work preparation for hook-up and commissioning of OSS.
