Job summary

Zendesk, Inc. is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to build, deploy, and continuously improve ML systems powering the enterprise intelligence layer. You will own the full lifecycle from problem understanding to production deployment, monitoring, and iterative improvements.

You will collaborate with AI Engineers, Data Engineers, and analytics professionals to deliver scalable ML solutions that become part of Zendesk's core platform, applying modern ML and NLP techniques to real business data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Math/Stats/Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of professional ML/DS experience.
• Strong Python and SQL skills with production tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy ML models predicting business outcomes.
• Develop and maintain scalable ML pipelines ingesting data and retraining models.
• Work with large-scale structured and unstructured data.
• Monitor production models and iterate for performance improvements.
• Collaborate with data engineers, PMs, and stakeholders to deliver ML solutions.
• Own ML solutions end-to-end from problem to production deployment.

Skills

3–5 years experience in ML Engineering

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Mathematics / Statistics / Engineering

Master's or PhD is a plus
