Job summary

Samsara is seeking a Senior Security Incident Response professional to join our Security Operations Team in Poland. You will monitor events, lead incidents, and guide digital forensics investigations supporting Employee Relations, Legal, and Information Security cases.

Ideal candidates will have strong experience in incident response, scripting, and cloud security across AWS/GCP, plus the ability to mentor engineers and communicate with executives and legal. Remote-friendly with UK-aligned hours.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Security Incident Response experience.
• Ability to communicate investigative findings to technical staff, executives, and legal.
• Ability to build scripts or tools to support investigations, with Python.
• Mentor and train security operation engineers on data collection, analysis, and reporting.
• Lead during security incidents and coordinate across teams.
• Understanding of forensics on macOS, Windows, and Linux.
• Experience with SIEM tools for log reviews.
• Experience in cloud architecture and security (AWS, GCP).
• On-call rotation and UK-aligned hours.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security events and provide technical analysis on alerts.
• Lead information security incidents and insider investigations; develop incident response strategy and drive execution.
• Deliver security guidance for incident response and insider threat; coordinate services, integrations, and technologies.
• Champion Samsara’s cultural principles across the organization as we scale globally.
• Participate in on-call rota covering weekends.
