Qualifications

• 5+ years in security (Operations, Incident Response, Detection, Threat Research, or Engineering).
• Specialization in malware analysis, forensics, threat hunting, network analysis, or cloud endpoint analysis.
• Hands-on use of AI-assisted tools in incident response or security operations.
• Experience responding to incidents and conducting investigations.
• Fluency in modern programming languages (Python, Ruby, Java or Go) or scripting.
• Experience with AWS, GCP or similar cloud platforms.
• Experience delivering projects from start to finish.
• Contributions to security community or open source projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Act as escalation point for security incidents and coordinate resolution.
• Investigate and analyze log data from multiple sources to identify signs of compromise.
• Conduct post-incident reviews to analyze root cause and improvements.
• Participate in on-call roster for security incident response.
• Deliver technical solutions to mitigate incidents and enhance response capabilities.
• Advocate for security best practices and secure coding standards.
• Conduct threat hunts to identify new attack vectors and countermeasures.
• Research threat actor tactics, techniques and tooling for investigations and response.
• Build and maintain tools and AI-assisted workflows to speed investigations.
• Develop and maintain incident response playbooks and SOPs.
• Lead evidence collection and forensic analysis during incidents.
• Conduct tabletop exercises to test incident readiness.
