Job summary

Craftware is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to lead the design and implementation of complex data engineering solutions for enterprise clients. You will set technical standards, mentor junior engineers, and own critical data infrastructure, including data warehouses and data lakes.

You will work across distributed systems and cloud data platforms, applying advanced ETL/ELT patterns to architect scalable data environments.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading design and construction of large-scale data architectures.
• Proven ability to architect scalable data warehouses and data lakes.
• Strong AWS and data governance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and construction of large-scale data architectures with mentoring.
• Troubleshoot performance issues in critical data infrastructure.
• Align data strategy with leadership and guide technical teams.
• Define data governance initiatives and long-term data strategy.
• Design scalable data warehouses and data lakes for enterprise systems.
• Apply expertise across programming languages and Big Data technologies.
