Job summary

Bitcoin.com is seeking a hands-on KYC Analyst to join the Compliance team. You will review customer onboarding and ongoing due diligence, flag high-risk cases for escalation, and help maintain a documented CDD/EDD process as the platform scales across EU jurisdictions.

Location: Remote (EU/EEA). You will work with the team to conduct identity verification, monitor alerts, and ensure compliance with MI CA/EMI requirements while delivering clear disposition notes in English.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in KYC/AML, screening operations, or fraud/financial-crime.
• Experience within fintech, crypto, payments, or iGaming background welcome
• Working knowledge of KYC/CDD/EDD processes: PEP/sanctions/adverse-media screening
• Ability to write clear, concise alert dispositions and escalation notes in English
• Comfortable using IDV/screening platforms and case-management tools
• Careful, consistent, detail-oriented
• Comfortable following procedures in a fast-changing, scale-up environment

Responsibilities

• Conduct KYC/CDD reviews on new and existing customers, including identity verification and document checks.
• Assist in KYB and UBO verification for corporate onboarding if required.
• Disposit ion PEP, sanctions and adverse-media screening alerts; document rationale and escalate hits.
• Conduct first-line transaction monitoring alert reviews and basic source-of-funds checks.
• Monitor transaction alerts and support investigations into unusual activity.
• Maintain audit-ready case files and elevate SAR/STR triggers.
• Support periodic reviews, remediation exercises, and licensing data requests (MiCA/EMI).
• Help maintain and improve internal KYC procedures and training materials.
• Handle KYC-related customer queries and RFIs professionally and within SLA
