Job summary

EY GDS Poland in Katowice is seeking a Junior DevOps Engineer to join the TechOps team. You will automate infrastructure with IaC, build CI/CD pipelines, and monitor performance to ensure reliability across EY clients globally.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year of experience, familiarity with cloud platforms, scripting skills, and strong teamwork. The role blends on-site and remote work with a dynamic, global client base.

Qualifications

• Experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Familiarity with DevOps principles and standard DevOps technologies.
• Scripting/automation skills in Bash, Python, or Go to build deployment processes.
• Understanding of Git and CI/CD workflows (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Effective English communication for global collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement logging/alerting for uptime.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and security teams to ensure compliant DevOps practices.
• Manage cloud resources efficiently.
• Design new functionalities and solutions.
• Prototype and validate new modules.
• Research new technologies and trends.
