Job summary

Tealium is hiring for a Software Engineer to join the Connectors & Integrations (CAI) engineering team. You will design, build, test, and support scalable server-side connectors and integrations enabling real-time customer data delivery across marketing and analytics platforms.

You will work with distributed systems, third‑party APIs, and cloud‑native technologies, collaborating with engineers, QA, DevOps, Product, and other partners to deliver reliable, high‑quality solutions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional Java development experience with modern frameworks (Spring/Quarkus).
• Experience building REST APIs and integrations with external services.
• Understanding of microservices, distributed systems, retries, timeouts, observability and failure handling.
• Familiarity with relational/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB, Redis, MongoDB).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Java services and APIs for real-time data delivery.
• Build and enhance server-side integrations with third-party vendor APIs and authentication.
• Contribute to connector actions, configuration APIs, and metadata services.
• Work with event-driven and batch-processing systems to deliver data reliably at scale.
• Write unit/integration/automated tests and improve test coverage.
