Job summary

Convatec seeks a Supplier Quality Engineer to support complex projects within the Global Supplier Quality Programme. You will build strong supplier partnerships, monitor KPIs, and drive CAPAs while ensuring compliance with ISO 13485, ISO 9001, GMP, and EU MDR.

The role requires a minimum of 2 years in supplier quality or QA, experience in medical devices or regulated industries, and proficiency with SAP/TrackWise. English fluency (B2) is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in Supplier Quality or Quality Assurance.
• Background in medical device, pharma, or other regulated industry.
• Hands-on experience with quality investigations, NCs, CAPAs, and supplier corrective actions.
• Knowledge of supplier audits and supplier quality management.
• Familiarity with ISO 13485 and medical device regulations.
• Excellent communication skills and proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong quality partnerships with suppliers to ensure high standards of performance and compliance.
• Monitor supplier performance through KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support supplier selection, evaluation, qualification, and approval processes.
• Lead and support investigations of supplier-related quality issues, NCs, and CAPAs.
• Plan and conduct supplier audits and follow up on corrective actions to ensure effective resolution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and stakeholders worldwide to address quality-related challenges.
• Identify potential risks and support compliance with regulatory and quality requirements within the medical device industry.
• Work in accordance with ISO 13485, ISO 9001, GMP, and EU MDR.
• Analyze quality data and trends to improve supplier performance and product quality.
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, customer focus, and operational excellence.
• Support additional quality-related activities as required to meet business and organizational needs.
