Job summary

Publicis Re:Sources is seeking a General Ledger Accountant to join the Finance team in Poland. The role focuses on supporting GL accounting activities, month-end and year-end closings, and ensuring accurate financial data. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• Experience in General Ledger accounting or similar role.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and month-end closing.
• ERP knowledge (SAP preferred).
• Strong Excel and data handling skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in international teams.
• Proficiency in English, Polish, and Serbian.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post manual journal entries, including accruals and amortization.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and analyze GL postings.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings.
• Maintain intercompany reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with fixed asset accounting and depreciation checks.
• Prepare reporting packages and management analysis as required.
• Support statutory, tax, and external reporting.
• Collaborate with internal clients and finance teams to ensure data accuracy.
• Identify issues and support process improvements and standardization.
