Job summary

Percona is seeking a technically credible storyteller who can own our social and content voice across channels. You will sit with Engineering, attend standups, and translate engineers' work into posts developers actually read and engage with.

Qualifications

• A demonstrated ability to go deep on technical subject matter.
• A portfolio or track record of technical content aimed at developers.
• Experience owning a social strategy, from planning to measurement.
• Active participation in open source or developer communities.

Responsibilities

• Own the social media strategy end to end: channel priorities, content pillars, voice, cadence, and success metrics.
• Translate engineering work into content developers and DBAs value; include threads, technical breakdowns, and cross-posts.
• Build a repeatable system for sourcing content from engineering work in flight.
• Use AI-assisted tools for production without losing technical accuracy.
• Define and track metrics for a technical audience and report on what's working.
