AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Middle Application Security Engineer to lead hands-on DevSecOps work within a large financial services security program. You will write Python scripts to integrate SAST, DAST, and SCA gates into CI/CD pipelines and guide developers on secure coding.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of software engineering and AppSec experience, strong Python skills, and familiarity with modern CI/CD tools and vulnerability scoring frameworks. Remote and office options available.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of commercial software engineering and DevSecOps experience.
• Strong Python proficiency for automation and scripting.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD orchestration tools and vulnerability scoring frameworks.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision on complex scripting tasks.

Responsibilities

• Integrate SAST/DAST/SCA gates into CI/CD pipelines.
• Tune security scanners to reduce false positives and improve alert quality.
• Develop automated hardened baselines and secure coding patterns.
• Provide code-level remediation guidance to Java and Python teams.
