AgileEngine in Poznań, Poland is seeking a Middle Application Security Engineer to drive DevSecOps initiatives across CI/CD pipelines and security tooling.

You will write Python scripts to integrate SAST, DAST, and SCA gates, tune scanners, and guide Java and Python teams on secure coding practices in a large-scale financial services security program.

The role offers flextime and a blend of remote and office work to support continuous growth.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of combined software engineering and DevSecOps/AppSec experience.
• Solid Python proficiency for automation and scripting.
• Working knowledge of modern CI/CD orchestration tools and vulnerability scoring frameworks.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision on day‑to‑day tasks.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain scripts to integrate security gates (SAST/DAST/SCA) into CI/CD pipelines.
• Tune and configure security scanning tools to reduce false positives and deliver high-confidence alerts.
• Assist in deploying automated hardened baselines and secure coding patterns.
• Provide code-level remediation guidance to Java and Python development teams.
