Fromjimmy is seeking a Data Engineer/Analyst for a global consulting client in Ireland. The role focuses on identifying knowledge gaps, documenting data platforms, and tracing data flows and ETL processes.

Remote-first contract for candidates based in Ireland and the UK, with occasional on-site team meetings in Ireland. You will document ODI processes, map data flows, and produce runbooks while enabling knowledge transfer across teams.

Formación

• Experience in data engineering, data analytics or data platforms.
• Hands-on with OBIEE, PL/SQL and Python.
• Solid ETL, data lineage and data warehousing knowledge.
• Ability to document data solutions and runbooks.
• Experience delivering knowledge transfer to technical teams.
• Awareness of data flows and system dependencies.

Responsabilidades

• Document ODI processes and data warehouse.
• Map source-to-target data flows, transformations and dependencies.
• Analyse and document ETL processes.
• Create operational documentation, runbooks and knowledge base.
• Organise knowledge transfer workshops and walkthroughs.
• Identify opportunities to automate and simplify processes.
