Job summary

Exavalu Solutions India Pvt Ltd is seeking a Data & BI Lead for a permanent remote role. You will own end-to-end data platforms, data modelling, and BI engineering, delivering enterprise-scale analytics using Power BI across global stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in data engineering, warehousing, and BI, with hands-on expertise on Fabric, Databricks, or Snowflake, and strong Power BI capabilities for semantic modeling and dashboards.

Qualifications

10+ years in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, BI, or Analytics.
Strong hands-on data engineering on at least one platform (mandatory).
Very strong SQL expertise (mandatory).
Deep expertise in Data Modelling (mandatory).
Strong Data Warehousing experience (mandatory).
Strong Power BI experience (mandatory).
Experience with Data governance, lineage, and security.

Responsibilities

Lead design and implementation of scalable data platforms on Fabric, Databricks, or Snowflake.
Build and optimize data ingestion, transformation, and ELT pipelines.
Design and implement enterprise data models across warehouse, lakehouse and analytics layers.
Develop and maintain Power BI datasets, semantic models, and dashboards.
Drive query and performance optimization for SQL workloads and BI reporting.
Establish data warehousing standards and reusable data assets.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable analytics solutions.
Provide technical leadership across data engineering and BI workstreams.
Drive DevOps and CI/CD practices for data pipelines and BI deployments.
