Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Data API Engineer based in Poland to enhance a PostgreSQL-powered Data API used by developers worldwide. You will work on PostgREST, improve database connectivity with Hasql, and contribute to a scalable, multitenant API.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, investigate complex issues, and strengthen observability to improve service reliability. Strong Haskell expertise and open-source mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of professional experience with Haskell (strong proficiency).
• Experience with C language and systems-level code.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and PostgreSQL; PL/pgSQL experience.
• Experience debugging in Linux environments; problem-solving focus.
• Open-source contribution experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Improve database connectivity in the PostgreSQL driver (Hasql).
• Develop Data API capabilities and scalable features for PostgREST.
• Enhance reliability, performance, and observability of the API.
• Resolve incidents and collaborate across engineering teams.
• Support developers and users; contribute to open-source software.
