Hikari is seeking an experienced Senior Backend Engineer to join our core infrastructure team. You will design, build, and maintain highly scalable microservices powering our main product.

You will architect robust APIs, optimize PostgreSQL and NoSQL data stores, and collaborate closely with front-end developers, designers, and product managers. You will mentor junior engineers and participate in code reviews to uphold code quality. This role offers flexible hours and remote-friendly culture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial backend development experience.
• Proficient in Node.js, Python or Go.
• Strong SQL and NoSQL DB knowledge; PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis.
• Experience with cloud platforms and containerization (AWS or GCP; Docker/Kubernetes).

Responsibilities
