Zusammenfassung

Sii Poland is hiring a Field Inspection Engineer (NDT) to conduct inspections on port equipment like STS, RTG, RMG, and MHC cranes. The role blends field inspections, NDT activities, and maintenance support in an international setting.

Expect extensive travel to terminal sites worldwide and work at height on steel structures. Technical engineering education and a current NDT certification are required, with at least five years in industrial environments.

Qualifikationen

• Technical education in mechanical, structural, or hydraulic engineering.
• Valid NDT certification (ISO 9712, AWS or equivalent).
• At least 5 years in fabrication, welding, mechanical assembly, or industrial maintenance.
• Experience with heavy port equipment is advantageous.
• Ability to read/interpret technical drawings and specs.
• Good command of English; fluent Polish required.
• Willingness to travel internationally (≈80%); field work.
• No medical contraindications to working at height.

Aufgaben

• Perform NDT inspections and quality checks on steel structures and crane components.
• Verify fabrication, assembly, installation, and repair against specs.
• Identify non-conformities and prepare punch lists and inspection reports.
• Support maintenance with on-site technical assessments.
• Interpret drawings and engineering documentation.
• Assist crane condition monitoring at international terminals.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
