Job summary

VOLTICAN INC. is seeking a Cortex XSOAR Engineer to support deployment, configuration, and maintenance of a federal SOAR solution in a cloud environment. You will translate client requirements into secure designs and work within a federal cloud stack with DoD standards.

Requirements include a bachelor’s in cyber or CS, 5+ years in security engineering, and DoD 8570 certifications. Remote US-based role with opportunities to mentor junior engineers and develop dashboards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cyber, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• 3+ years of SOAR engineering/administration.
• 2+ years managing SOAR within a Federal environment.
• Understanding of cloud-based and hybrid clouds; MITRE ATT&CK, OWASP, NIST.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and scripting skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with configuration, deployment, and maintenance of SOAR in a federal cloud.
• Translate client requirements into technical design and implementation.
• Configure SOAR per DISA STIG and CIS Benchmark requirements.
• Develop dashboards and reports for SOAR operations.
• Respond to tickets and mentor mid engineers.
