Job summary

Moritz is seeking an experienced commercial litigation/arbitration lawyer to join its co-counsel network for Poland. You will lead case strategy and participation in disputes, from startups to enterprise clients, across contract disputes, shareholder/M&A issues, technology/IP matters, debt recovery, and arbitration.

You’ll draft pleadings and settlements, manage proceedings end-to-end, and advise on litigation risk.

Qualifications

5+ years practising commercial litigation or arbitration.
Familiarity with contract disputes—breach, termination, damages.
Advocacy and procedure with rights of audience or arbitration experience.
Strong drafting under pressure.
Commercial judgment and client advisory.
Polish bar license in good standing.

Responsibilities

Serve as co-counsel for dispute resolution in Poland: contract disputes, shareholder/M&A disputes, tech/IP disputes, debt recovery and arbitration.
Lead case strategy, pleadings, evidence and procedural steps for clients ranging from startups to midsize and enterprise companies.
Advise clients on litigation risk before disputes arise—contract audits, escalation strategy, settlement positioning and dispute resolution clauses.
Draft and negotiate letters before action, settlement agreements, standstill and tolling arrangements; represent in mediation/arbitration/court where licensed.
