SQUAD in Poland is seeking a C++ Software Engineer with a strong Linux background to join our R&D team. You will design, build, and maintain software for our new Linux-based IoT product, writing high-performance C++ code and ensuring system stability.

You will collaborate with hardware, firmware, QA, and project management to shape architecture, implement features end-to-end, and participate in code reviews and planning sessions. English proficiency required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of commercial software development experience in C++ (modern C++, OOP, and multithreading).
• Solid practical experience with Linux development and debugging tools.
• Experience with build systems, version control, and CI/CD tools (CMake, Git).
• Hands-on experience writing unit tests and performing code optimization.
• Practical problem-solving skills and the ability to work with complex technical requirements.
• At least an Intermediate level in English (B1).

Responsabilités

• Design and implement new software features in C++ for Linux-based devices.
• Own features through the full cycle: from design to deployment.
• Write clean, maintainable code, unit tests, and documentation.
• Debug and profile system issues, fix performance bottlenecks and stability bugs.
• Collaborate daily with hardware, firmware, QA, and project management teams.
• Participate in code reviews and team planning sessions.
