Job summary

Alignerr is seeking Back End Developers in Łódź to design, build, and optimize server-side systems and APIs powering AI products—data pipelines, model-serving infra, and scalable microservices for real-world traffic.

This is a fully remote, flexible hourly contract role with 10–40 hours per week. Join a distributed team working on cutting-edge AI infrastructure and impactful projects.

Qualifications

• Proficient in one or more backend languages (Python/Go/Java/Node.js/Rust).
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design and microservices.
• Experience with relational/noSQL databases (PostgreSQL/MongoDB/Redis).
• Comfort with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Familiar with Git, CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Able to debug complex systems and work asynchronously with distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain back end services, APIs, and data pipelines.
• Build scalable server-side architecture for AI training and inference workloads.
• Write clean, well-documented, testable code following best practices.
• Integrate with databases, queues, cloud services, and third-party APIs.
• Optimize performance, reliability, and scalability as usage grows.
• Collaborate asynchronously with engineers, researchers, and product leads.
• Troubleshoot production issues, review code, and contribute to architecture decisions.
• Work independently on task- and project-based assignments.
