Job summary

Alignerr is seeking Backend Developers to design, build, and optimize server-side systems and APIs for AI-powered products. This fully remote hourly contract role supports data pipelines, model-serving infra, and scalable microservices to handle real-world traffic.

You'll work across Poland, set your own schedule, and collaborate asynchronously with distributed teams of engineers and researchers, delivering robust, maintainable code in a fast-moving AI context.

Qualifications

• Proficient in one or more backend languages and frameworks.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and distributed systems.
• Familiar with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Comfortable with AWS/GCP/Azure and containerization tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs.
• Build scalable server-side architecture for AI workloads.
• Write clean, well-documented, testable code.
• Integrate with databases, queues, cloud services, and third-party APIs.
