Unabyss is building the universal context layer for AI. We are assembling the founding engineering team on the ground floor of a company creating core infrastructure for the AI era, with pre-seed funding just secured.

We are hiring a mid-to-senior backend engineer to design and implement backend features end-to-end—from data modeling to API endpoints—while building async processing pipelines and real-time streaming infrastructure. Remote/hybrid options in Warsaw or Krakow.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of professional experience with Python and Django.
• Strong understanding of async Python - asyncio, async views, task queues.
• Experience with AI-first programming and AI coding tools as part of workflow.
• Comfortable with Linux server administration and containerized deployments.
• Ability to work independently and drive features with minimal supervision.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).

Responsabilités

• Design and implement backend features end-to-end from data modeling to API endpoints.
• Build and maintain async processing pipelines and real-time streaming infrastructure.
• Own and improve the deployment pipeline across staging and production environments.
• Build out CI/CD pipelines with automated testing, linting, and deployments.
• Maintain monitoring, alerting, and self-healing infrastructure.
• Participate in architectural decisions and shape technical direction.
• Help migrate and scale infrastructure as the product grows.
